Welcome to Harvest Valley Foods®

Harvest Valley Foods® was founded in 2002 by Don & Jeanne to share their passion for natural foods and health.

Don's interest in pigs started at a very young age, when his father gave him 2 barns and 8 gilts. His business grew to producing 10,000 pigs per year, as well as selling breeding stock throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico

All pigs used for Harvest Valley Foods® pork products are grown naturally on the original Bellevue, Nebraska farm without growth stimulants, antibiotics, animal proteins or animal fats. They are personally selected for superior quality. All meats are USDA inspected and Harvest Valley meat bundles make the perfect gift.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for trying Harvest Valley Foods®, and we sincerely hope that you will enjoy the products that you have selected. We look forward to serving you in the future. Your business is greatly appreciated.

Philosophy

Our focus is on quality, not sales volume. We believe that natural meats are an important part of a healthy nutrition plan. When the label says Harvest Valley Foods® you can be assured it is our local, family-raised, quality product that you can trust and expect to be the very best.

Harvest Valley Foods® is committed to quality. This is possible because Harvest Valley Foods® is in total control of the complete production system - from breeding and feeding, to herdsmanship and well-being of the animals. We feel that no big stores or factory-raised meat companies can come anywhere close to this type of production and delivery system for our customers.

Harvest Valley Foods® pigs are fed:

  • NO mammalian (ruminant) meat or blood products
  • NO avian (Poultry) by-products
  • NO animal fat or proteins
  • NO antibiotics

So what DO they eat??

  • Fish and Milk proteins to optimize essential amino acid concentrations.
  • Corn, Vegetable oil and extruded soy meal to help meet their caloric requirements.
  • Phytase Enzyme, a friendly enzyme that improves digestion of phosphorus in grain.
